Management

The Board of CICEE for the 2025 – 2027 triennium comprises:

• Doutor Mário João Coutinho dos Santos

  PhD in Finance, from the University of Aveiro, a ‘Licenciatura’ (BSc) in Finance from Instituto Superior de Economia, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, and Post-Graduate diplomas in Management and Finance from the Harvard Business School, Harvard University, and in Finance from the Stanford Graduate School Business, Stanford University.

  He currently is a Full Professor at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (UAL), Visiting Professor of Finance at Técnico+, Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisboa, Chair of the Board of CICEE – Research Center in Business & Economics, and a Research Fellow at Portuguese Catholic University.

  He has taught Finance courses in BSc, MBA, MSc, Executive Masters, and Executive programs, among others, at the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEG), Portuguese Catholic University, Faculty of Economics (FEP), University of Porto, at the Department of Economics, Management and Engineering (DEGEI), University of Aveiro, and at the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC) of S. Paulo, Brazil.

  At FEP, he served as Associate Dean, Chair of the Finance and Accounting Department, academic Director of the MSc in Finance, and the Degree in Management and Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the UCP of Porto. At UAL, Mário served as academic Director of the Master’s in Business Management.

• Doutor Miguel Jorge de Campos Cruz

  Teaching Monitor, Teaching Assistant and Visiting Professor at Portuguese Catholic
  University, from 1989 to 2018. Several Courses: Industrial Economics, Statistics,
  Mathematics, Introduction to Economics, Models for financing Transport Companies,
  Small Business Management.

  Guest Associated Professor at Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL) since October
  1998, with academic activities suspended while in the Government (between June 2020
  and March 2022). Econometrics, Management Seminars, Strategic Management,
  Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship.

  Visiting Professor at Porto Business School (Magellan MBA) from April 2009 to June 2011.
  Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.

  Guest Lecturer on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the MBA at ISEG – Lisbon School
  of Economics and Management (Lisbon University) in the Course of Entrepreneurship,
  between 2014 and 2020.

  Guest Professor at D. Dinis Business School (Leiria), between March 2015 and April 2016.
  Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Teaching Monitor (Statistics) at London Business School (1996 e 1997).
