The 11th World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR2027) invites researchers, scholars, and practitioners from around the world to share their insights, expertise, and research with an international community of qualitative researchers.
WCQR2027 will take place in person from 19 to 21 January 2027 in Vila Nova de Gaia – Porto, Portugal, followed by an online edition from 1 to 4 February 2027.

The World Conference on Qualitative Research brings together novice and experienced researchers from more than 40 countries, alongside renowned authors, scholars, and research groups. Over the years, WCQR has established itself as an important international forum for discussing, sharing, and disseminating high-quality research in the field of qualitative research.
WCQR has also partnered with leading institutions and organisations, including the NCRM – National Centre for Research Methods (UK), the American Anthropological Association (USA), the International Institute for Qualitative Methodology (Canada), and the Association for Qualitative Research (UK), among many others.
